When I’m not making personal or private commission props, I enjoy spending time with friends playing board games, video games and table top role playing games, such as Dungeons and Dragons.
I’ve been drawing and modifying miniature models from an early age, but it wasn’t until college that my tutors opened me up to working with 3D media, such as wire, clay, wood, foam and just about anything else that I could manipulated to produce a desired effect.
Limiting myself to one media or craft has never been my preference. Paired with a love of practical effects, especially the animatronics, stop motion and puppetry of films from my childhood such as, Star Wars, Gremlins and the work of the Jim Henson studio.
My current inspiration comes from the works of Guillermo del Toro, chiefly from the Hellboy films, also from the work and passion of the industrial and special effects designer Adam Savage.
